The set up of this blog is in flux. The purpose is to test how WordPress themes generally work hosted on my site as opposed to having a site on WordPress itself. Also, testing on my mobile phone will be happening. It isn’t supposed to look good in anything else but Google Chrome and Safari on my Mac and on my mobile phone only.

It will break in IE. And I don’t care. IE is evil. I encourage everyone to try a different browser. Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, ANYTHING else.

And a gentle reminder to all to set your browsers to automatically update. One, for security purposes and two, to take advantage of the latest features available due to updated code (HTML5/CSS3). The most recent version of HTML offers more in design, it will make for a nicer, safer, cleaner coded world.

One thing I’ve already learned, if the Jetpack plugin was initially enabled upon installation of WordPress, Screen Options are hidden. Jetpack needs to be disabled to allow Screen Options. The benefit of Screen Options is you can select what shows on the screens, a featured image or if discussion/comments are allowed on posts. Good to know, irritating to figure out. Only took about 5 minutes to find a discussion on it.
Anyway, onward, upward, let’s hope for the best.
